Paul Barrett

GFP art director Paul’s first response to becoming a Girl Friday was, “Yes! I broke the glass ceiling!” and it’s just proverbial icing that his hire helped make history. Paul’s droll wit is a lovely companion to his superhuman work ethic, and he can do it all. He crafts wide-ranging book covers and splashy interiors with ease and lends his incredibly adept eyes to all things aesthetic, managing our diverse and talented pool of freelancers and enforcing GFP standards. Bonus: Paul is a designer with an editor’s heart and a writing degree to boot, as schooled on the proper use of the semicolon as on the virtues of a well-kerned slab serif.
