Nicole Burns-Ascue

Our heart belongs to Texas, if only because special projects editor extraordinaire Nicole Burns-Ascue relocated there from Seattle and took a little piece of Girl Friday with her. While Nicole has held many editorial posts at other firms, including managing editor, production editor, and associate editor, we were thrilled when she joined GFP and brought all of that experience and expertise to bear. A true manifestation of her GFP spirit animal—the hummingbird—Nicole is always in motion, making the smallest catches while always keeping the big picture in view on her full complement of brightly arrayed titles. Incredible!

Fine Print

After completing undergraduate degrees in international relations and French and a masters degree in literature, Nicole began her career in publishing with an internship at Seattle’s Sasquatch Books and then moved on to do both production and editorial work on a range of foreign and domestic titles at becker&mayer! before landing (softly) with GFP.  Très bon!
